New additions to Kitchzen™ line include silicone pastry brush
Chef'n Corporation | January 14, 2005

The sleek, economical Kitchzen™ tool line from Chef'n rounds out with four new kitchen turners, a cheese plane and a silicone pastry brush.
Seattle, WA - The Switchit™, a dual-ended silicone spatula has made Chef'n a star in the silicone housewares market. Now, with the launch of the Kitchzen™ pastry brush, the company solidifies it's place in the burgeoning silicone trend.

As with all Kitchzen™ products, the new silicone pastry brush features an ergonomic handle and elegant design at a price anyone can love. The brush is 600 F heat resistant silicone, perfect for use in any pastry preparation and is safe for non-stick cookware. Additionally, the silicone bristles are stain resistant and dishwasher safe, making this brush an easy, sanitary tool that will soon become a favorite in the kitchen.

New turners and cheese plane add diversity
The new Kitchzen™ turners are each specialized for various cooking tasks: the Oversized Turner is perfect for turning steaks and other large items, the Short Turner handles heavy foods such as burgers, the Asian Turner makes stir fry and other Asian cooking a snap, and the Fish Turner is perfect for turning the delicate meat of fish and other seafood.

Not to be outdone, the new Kitchzen™ cheese plane offers three different functions on the stainless work-end. In addition to a specially engineered plane for making perfect slices, a sharpened edge cuts cheese too soft for use with the plane and the forked tip is perfect for picking up the freshly sliced cheese.

With the addition of the four new turners, the cheese plane and the silicone brush, the Kitchzen™ line, introduced in 2003, now encompasses 38 different products. Chef'n has hinted that more new Kitchzen™ products are in the works, to be launched later this year.

The Kitchzen™ silicone pastry brush retails for $9.99. The four new Kitchzen™ turners retail separately for $4.99 each, and the cheese plane retails for $8.99.
