Product Development Coordinator

Chef’n Corporation is currently seeking a Product Development Coordinator.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination of all parties involved in development to maintain the annual product launch timeline
- Develop a strong relationship with Chef’n's current and future overseas manufacturers
- Oversee organization of packaging certification, vendor management and sampling
- Coordinate sample requests for customers by interacting directly with the factories and tracking data as needed
- Work with key customers and test facilities to maintain database of material certification documents for all products
- Assist general QA duties such as machine testing, cycling testing, etc. to help prove methods of construction
- Assist in maintaining/updating BOM sheets as items change
- Complete final item certification documentation
- Create and maintain proper control samples of approved products and colors
- May modify or assist as needed with CAD in product development process
- Assist Technical Development Manager, Design Engineer and Industrial Designers as needed on specified projects
Qualifications
- A can-do, innovative attitude
- Demonstrated drive to problem solve
- Experience with vendors and manufacturing techniques
- Experience with the design and development of durable consumer products
- Understanding of metals, ceramics, rubbers, plastics and related assembly techniques
- High degree of attention to detail and organization
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
- B.S. degree or applicable experience
- 3-D CAD experience a +
