Is it supposed to come out the bottom too?

"I love how easy it is to get this open during cooking. I recently noticed it was leaving a little salt trail on my counter. There is a hole in the bottom and if you shake it over your food it works great. When I looked at the Chefn website I thought it was a clever feature they added. After reading the description I am not sure it is. TBD if the salt stays in most of the time or I have a trail on my counter."
