Yes they’re magnetic but they repel each other!

"We bought a set of these years ago - they stick together and were handy for a picnic basket. We replaced them recently but the new set repel each other! Customer service tell me they are supposed to be like this. So we don’t understand the point of them - our stick-together set were perfect but apparently not as intended?"
