"I've had mine for at least 4 years. No problems with cord ever. My daughter has one too, and is on her second one, only because they used it so much for the first two years. I find handwashing the top lid mildly inconvenient. I have chopped onions, carrots, peppers, walnuts, pecans with great success. Love the hand pull feature too. Can chop in the dark if needed!"
